Country Aire Turned 50!
What a celebration! A big congratulations to the 23 lucky raffle winners, and heartfelt thanks to our generous suppliers for the AMAZING selection of donated prizes. It was such a joy to give back to you, our community, during this milestone weekend.

A huge thank you to the Port Angeles Food Bank for helping us facilitate the food drive — together, we collected 250 pounds of food during our “Fill the Tractor” event!

Shout out to our weekend sampling sponsors:

And Cameron, our incredible Bulk Manager, who kept the cheese sampling going strong all weekend long!
Thank you to Joyful Events and Balloons for the gorgeous balloon displays that brightened the space and our spirits.

Cheers to Harbinger Winery for labeling the special-edition Country Aire 50th Anniversary red and white wines—grab a bottle while they last!

A thank you to Magner Construction for creating the beautiful framed window and stand that commemorates this moment in time.

And of course, deep gratitude to the vendors who came out to celebrate with us or supported us along the way—including Maddie’s Mushrooms / Olympic Peninsula Fungi Festival, Alpenfire Cider, Eaglemount Cider, Gold Feather Coffee, Fullness of Joy Farm, and Ancient Nutrition.

Here’s to 50 years of nourishment, connection, and community. Thank you for being part of it!

Who remembers, "What's in the Aire"?!
Back in the good ol' days, Country Aire published a little newsletter that guided customers through social trends, product information, sales, and health-centered tips and tricks. As 2025 marks a milestone for the store, we thought it would be fitting to resurrect this gem from our past, with a fresh, new look!

Be sure to grab a printed copy of our first edition next time you are shopping with us! You can find them near the entry/exits and at the beverage bar.

The Aire of Country
Still, nothing quite compares to the original store with that intimate, hometown feel. The warm, nostalgic aromas of herbs, spices, teas, coffees, soaps and scents so memorable that customers used to joke they should be bottled and sold. Though the big store can’t fully recreate that cozy charm, we hope the “Aire of Country” lives on for all who walk through its doors—whether browsing or shopping from the youth to the elderly, for every need or pleasure.
To the store’s continued legacy…
“Just for the health of it.”
